Alfredo Flores

In My Own Words:

 My name is Alfredo Jose Flores Garcia. I was born in Campusano on September 10th, 1991. I am the third son of five brothers and sisters. I started school at Pablo Antonio Cuadra. At that time we were living in the house of my grandmother. I still remember the special moment of graduating from first grade to second -- I was one of the brighter students.

In the middle of third grade we moved to live with my other grandparents and I finished my primary education at Camilo Zapata school and started High School at the same school. In the final three years of High School I was one of the best students for three years in a row. I owe this to God and to my parents for never stopping sending me to school in spite of our poverty. 

Three years ago an organization called World Vision trained us in themes like HIV-Aids, communication and how to exercise leadership in the community. The idea is that we pass on our knowledge to other young people in the community.

One of my goals is to keep serving my community and keep studying. My dream is to study computers and English. I hope one day to attain my goals and with God's help, all is possible.

Alfredo's Hobbies:

Listening to music, playing volleyball.

Clean the Camilo Zapata school in Nindiri, Masaya.
