Abelardo Martinez

In My Own Words:

Hi, my name is Abelardo Enrique Martinez. I live in Llano Grande #1 and I am 18 years old. My family is composed of my parents and my three sisters and me. We are a humble but united family.

I studied elementary school in the Lolita Soriano school. Each day I finished school I went to help my father work in the fields.

Later, I went to Bertha Pacheco High School in the afternoons while helping my father every morning. I have always liked studying in the evenings. When I didn't understand something, I asked my teacher.

My favorite class was Math. I loved it when the teacher would put exercises on the blackboard and I would be one of the first to answer.

My classmates where always asking me for help and I enjoyed explaining the exercises step by step. We would meet in the house of a classmate to review the more difficult problems. My teacher praised us for cleaning the surroundings of the school.

My goals are to keep studying to obtain the career of my dreams which is to be a industrial engineer. In this way I can help my family.

Abelardo's Hobbies:

Playing soccer, reading, listening to music.

Abelardo's Social Project:

I will volunteer in the library of the Bertha Pacheco High School. I will keep the books and the students in order.
