In My Own Words:
My name is Ana Mercedes Ramírez Gutiérrez. I was born on February 19th, 1991 in the Borgoña community of Ticuantepe. My parents are Sonia Maria and Olthor Alberto.
During my childhood and adolescence, I consider myself a fighter who studied from first grade to third grade in Joaquin Chamorro Cardenal school where I shared many experiences with my teachers and classmates.
I am a very dynamic person who has helped raise funds in the telethon and participated in the cleaning and reforestation of my community.
I finished my last year of High School studying on Sundays, due to the difficult economic conditions. It helped me mature as a person.
In my fourth year of High School, with the help of my adult classmates, I had the highest marks. It taught me to keep moving forward and never give up.
My family was very proud of me when I finished High School. It has inspired me to keep fighting to move ahead. All goals are achievable. It motivates me to continue being a positive person with a strong character, serious about life.
I want to finish a technical career or even a university education and continue being that woman with dreams that can reach them even with many obstacles and challenges in my way.
