In My Own Words:
My name is Elías Gonzales Carballo Cano. I am 17 years old. I was born in San Juan de Oriente, December 1st, 1992. My father works as an artesan, my mother takes care of our home.
I am the second of six kids.
From kindergarten to second grade I studied in Colegio Jesus. From third grade to sixth grade, I studied in Bautista el Alfarero School. I was the best student in the school and even competed in Math competitions.
I took High School in National Institute of San Juan de Oriente, obtaining excelent grades in the first and second years. I participated in different cultural activities and cleaning brigades at the Institute. I received training in first aid, forest fires and search and rescue, give by the organization Amietlas.
In addition, I passed the second year of bible studies at the Bible Institute of Aibano Maranatha in Jinotepe.
My parents don't have the funds to pay for my post-secondary education. My father has back problems and for this reason I want to take advantage of the opportunity that BECA.org is offering.
I get along well with other people and I have no vices. I only want to make the most of myself.
I come from a Christian family and live according to Christian principles.
Elias's Hobbies:
Listening to Christian music, watching television, going out with my friends.
