HOW BECA WORKS

1. BECA partners with certified Nicaraguan technical schools.

2. Candidates apply to receive a  scholarship to study at one of our partner schools.

In order to qualify, candidates must:
 

     I.    Have no financial resources to register for the course

     II.   Meet the academic prerequisites for the course

     III.  Currently not be enrolled in another technical center or university

3. Sponsors view the profiles of qualifying candidates on www.beca.org and select the candidates they wish to support.

4. Sponsors donate money for their selected candidate through www.beca.org. BECA then pays the partner schools for the tuition of the selected candidate.

5. Sponsors follow the journey of their becados as they blog their experiences.
