 In my Own Words December 2011 There are no words to express myself about the unique experience I have had with BECA. I found at BECA people who really care for me. This non-profit organization helped me to develop myself as a responsible person because of the training I received during 6 months training. Thought the 6-months training I got the chance to met people who helped me to enhance my qualities and overcome fears and weaknesses. Moreover, I had the great privilege to enroll in a wonderful pilot project that BECA was developing. I successfully accomplish all the expectations that BECA had set for me. Because of the pilot project I got a well-paid job according to Nicaraguan’s standards. BECA has changed my life in a positive way. In retrospect, Beca has had a powerful influence on me and I can say that Beca is an organization with purpose, vision, and passion.

| BECA is the BECA.org Foundation, Inc. It is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to facilitating
educational opportunities in Nicaragua for Nicaraguan youth who do not have the financial resources to continue studying after finishing high school. BECA envisions a future when all high school graduates in Nicaragua share the same opportunities in education. The idea is to help combat poverty in Nicaragua through education. |
