In My Own Words April 2012 The experience I had in BECA.org has been wonderful. The first time I heard the name BECA.org was from one of my friends; Sorania, I remember she explained how to apply what we know as Course One. At that moment I was filled with excitement because in my mind I said, "It is my chance to continue my studies and I will not miss it!" I got home and quickly told my parents the great news. The next day I went with my cousin to Intecomp, I remember like it was yesterday. Belkis, the woman who served me gave me some papers to fill out. During my time in BECA.org I learned to appreciate many things that beforehand seemed insignificant. Through BECA.org I learned to be a more responsible person and above all learned the value of punctuality. I would never have characterized myself as punctual, but thanks to BECA.org today I can say that this is a thing of the past and today I am a young woman with a desire to be better every day. Since childhood I knew that if I had the opportunity to study, I would study tourism. For me, it was not only important to study, but also to help my family. For that reason I decided that from the first moment of my internship, I would work with all my heart and do a good job. Today I work in the same hotel where I did my internship for three months and I am very happy to be able to contribute to the expenses of my house and in this manner help my parents because they have done everything for me and my brothers.
