In My Own Words
September 2013
My name is José Francisco Sánchez Muñoz. I am 23 years old. I graduated from the Instituto
Tecnologico Nacional (INTECNA) in Granada. I proudly belong to the BECA.org family.
I heard about the existence of BECA.org through the visit of Mr. Hunchak to Juana Maria Polanco
School in where I studied high school.
I remember that to get into this organization it was required to fill out a study plan in which I had
many difficulties. This was discouraging, and I wanted to quit.
I was accepted by the foundation and took "Course One BECA.org" in order to classify for the scholarship. I enjoyed it and met many young people to whom I maintain good friendships to this day.
With hard work, dedication and commitment I classified, passing to the second step called "Intensive BECA.org" which were my technical career studies.
In September 2012 before ending my career I performed my internship for three months with a company from Managua. They hired me after my internship and very soon I will be completing one year of employment.
As an objective I want to keep on studying a university career to strengthen my skills and improve my quality of life.
I am really grateful with God and BECA.org for the opportunity, for the trust they placed in me and for the values obtained which helped me to shape me and become what I am.
Thanks BECA.org! *Translated by Alvaro López (September 2013)
