In My Own Words
"My name is Freddy Alberto Mendez Ticay, I am a graduated from BECA.org and I studied education.
I would like to share with you a little bit about my experience being part of the BECA.org family.
Elizabeth Cristina Bermudez was the person who inform me about the organization on 2011, when I got the new I could not believe it because the program was something new for me.
I am so grateful for the opportunity that I received from BECA.org which is now HEDU.org.
Throughout the time I was studying I had an amazing experience with my classmates, I can not forget all those moments when i was part of that institution, moments that we laugh or simply provide opinions any time we had meeting. Also when I wrote my blogs or how to forget the beautiful experiences that i had on the social work with BECA.org.
After i finished my technical career, I worked at Veracruz # 1 school for 6 months as a teacher substitute. After that I start working at Veracruz # 2 school on which I have been working for 8 months. My responsibility is being a teacher for elementary school, even though I start working at mid day, I try to organize everything in the morning.
On the other hand I do not deny it has been a difficult walk, I hope I will continue working without giving me up and as it is said at the Ricardo Morales Aviles school : “ After the first step never stop walking”.
I am so grateful with God and BECA.org for the chance they gave me to change my life. I am so proud of being part of this family.
