In My Own Words
April 2012

First I give thanks to God for giving me this great opportunity to do my studies and to meet wonderful people such as BECA.org

I remember when my friend Hellem visited me in April 2009 to tell me that I had the opportunity to study a computer course of three months through BECA.org. At first I doubted it was true, but then I decided to visit the Technical Centre Intecomp to check that everything was true.

The receptionist, Ms. Belkis, then explained the BECA program to me and that it wasas divided into two stages: Course One and Intensive.

In May of 2009 I began Course One in Intecomp while doing my social project in a preschool in Nindirí. I supported the Preschool teacher by doing murals, keeping attendance, and reviewing homework, among other things.

Then in 2010 I began to study my technical career in accounting at MASINFA in Masaya. It lasted for 18 months, Monday to Friday.

My BECA.org experience has been unforgettable. I participated in work days in the communities, met new friends and one of the things I learned was punctuality and responsibility. Thanks to these two values I learned in BECA.org, I am enjoying success in my career.

I am very grateful to the Foundation because with the help they gave me I was able to fulfill my dreams.
