Hello, my name is William Reymundo García Zuniga, I’m 16 years old and I live in Masaya in Villa Betania Neighborhood.
What motivated me to study is the idea of becoming a lawyer in the future and that my parents will be proud of me because my brother didn’t want to study and therefore he quit. But if I stayed firm in achieving my goals of becoming a professional I would become the pride of my family.
From the year 2000 and on, my personality has progress as well as my studies. Now I feel I’m an optimistic person and self secure. Six years ago my life was very different, I was very shy and quiet and now I have experienced nice things in my life and now I’m a young man with an objective: that is finishing a good career.
I pray to God so he’ll always give the strength to work hard because my dad doesn’t have a stable job.
My family has scarce resources and to afford my studies my father has done a great effort and thanks to that I’m where I am now.
I have been living in this community for 4 years now and my family has been living here 8 years. But that’s not the point, the point is that while I have been living here I have known new things for example all of the community’s problems.
One year ago I realized that inside our community there was an intern problem. Also one month ago there were some training workshops that were giving by Alternativa.
Those training workshops are good because they make us know how to be useful among each other and for our community. Currently I’m involved in the park committee and as a member of this committee I already started working.
One week ago we cleaned the green areas of the park and we want to keep it always clean.
I say good bye feeling very grateful.
